Set Origin to change the pivot point of an abject
If you have no Mouse go File/ User Preferences/ Input
check Emulate 3 button Mouse
If you Have no number pad on your key board go File/ User Preferences/ Input
check Emulate Number Pad
CTRL + Arrow left or right=== Switches between layout modes.
CTRL + Arrow UP === maximize current window.
Hold Shift and Scroll any value will change the value slowly
Object Mode:
Shift+Right Mouse Click === Select an object
CTRL+Right Click === Free Drag select object
B === turns on Drag select objects tool
C === turns on Paint select object tool
A === Select all
G === Move Tool
With move on x or y or z sets the move on a specific axis
R === Rotate tool
With rotate on x or y or z sets the rotation on a specific axis.
S === Scale tool
With scale on x or y or z set the scale on a specific axis.
CTRL + A === Window for all the different pre-made shapes
Tab === switches between object mode and edit mode
Edit Mode (Sub Object Mode):
Tab === Turns on off Sub-Object mode
CTRL+TAB === Switch Between Vertex, Edge, Face Mode
Shift+Right Mouse Click === Select Vertex or edge or face
E == Extrude
W == Extra Options
F == Caps hole in geometry
Delete or X === Delete sub menu
W === Sub menu full of tools like bevel
CTRL + F === Sub Menu full of tools for face mode
CTRL + E === Sub Menu full of tools for edge mode
H=== hides objects
ALT + H === Un-hides objects
K=== cut tool
To combine two meshes, select the two meshes and click CTRL+J
Vertex Mode:
Select a vertex
Shift + V === Slides a vertex along a edge
In vertex mode J will connect selected vertices
Edge Mode:
ALT+ Shift+Right Click === Select Edge Loops
